Giving the gut a break from solid food is a good practice.

According to a May 2017 article in Scientific Research researchers tested 20 subjects and showed that drinking only juice for three days caused significant changes to gut microflora.
The amount of Firmicutes and Proteobacteria decreased, and the amount of Bacteroidetes (good guys)and Cyanobacteria increased. They are both good and have different functions. You want to have right ratio like omega 3, 6 and 9.
Three days is a great cleanse, then you can do one day a week.
I am usually at home and have a light schedule on liquid fast day. Don’t push yourself until you know how you’ll feel fasting.
