If you’re lucky enough to have some weight machines at home during this no gym life, I hope you’re also taking advantage of them!
In the past 10 months, I have been able to strengthen muscles in my hamstrings and quads. I started at no extra weight and have gone up from 20, 35 and now can usually handle 50 pounds.
I have noticed better balance, more stability in my left hip and strength in my shin (anterior tibialis.) That is VERY exciting for a person who has drop foot and general weakness in one limb from multiple sclerosis.
Another reason why I gained the 10 pounds….OF MUSCLES!!!💪🏾🏋🏽♀️ I look forward to less tripping, leaning and “drunk walking.” 😬
