Adaptive Hack!

This isn’t lazy!

Yeah, I feel like a 5 year old with my elastic laces but I also think they are hella cool, which is my teenage self expressing my singular fashion sense. I always liked being a little different anyways.

Switching to elastic shoe laces was a smart self help decision. Multiple sclerosis caused an action or sometimes referred to as an intention tremor in my left arm.

Tying laces is a hassle! Making all my shoes “slip on” is a big help. I don’t recommend you adapt everything that’s difficult. You need to challenge your body and your brain to do things that are difficult.

But making a daily task like this easier is ok too! Figure out what works for you and choose the tasks you can work at and those you can make easier.

An auto immune warrior fighting the battle to keep myself healthy! Auto immunity will NOT get me down. Multiple sclerosis: get out! The FLog food journal is created from my journey to fight with faith on my side.
