W Stretch 🧘🏽‍♀️

Can you W? You may be telling little kids to avoid sitting like this ALL the time but when you age it’s a position you might be attempting to get your hips to do.

Yes, it is as good a stretch for your hips as sitting cross legged.

The W sit or as close to it as possible is a great internal hip rotation stretch.

Cross legged stretching is an awesome external hip rotation stretch.

So get to practicing and meanwhile tell the little children that it’s important to do both–and not just one. Tell them their adult selves will thank them one day.
